FAUMUN Delegation 2023 speech training
Last weekend, our delegation underwent their speech training. The two days were filled with rhetorical training, focusing on adding emotions and gestures to speeches, followed by what is important to remember for giving a Model UN speech. The second day started by a presentation by Alexander Vogel introducing our delegates to the stones in the water method and showing how carisma can affect the outcome of one’s speech. Lastly, the two days were filled with multiple speech exercises which were filmed for the delegates to rewatch themselves and improve on their own feedback.
