Prof. Dr. Markus Krajewski | Academic Host
Markus Krajewski studied law, economics and political science at the Florida State University, where he obtained his Master degree (M.S.) in international affairs, and the University of Hamburg obtaining his First Legal State Exam and his PhD, subsequently staying on as Research Fellow at the Institute of International Affairs and Legal Intern at the Hamburg Court of Appeals. Since then, he has held academic positions at King’s College London, University of Potsdam, and University of Bremen.
Since 2010, he holds the Chair in Public Law and Public International Law at FAU and teaches German constitutional and administrative law, European law, public international law and human rights, while taking on the role as program director of the MA Human Rights at FAU, as chairperson of the Interdisciplinary Research Centre for Human Rights Erlangen-Nürnberg (CHREN), and as Secretary-General of the German Branch of the International Law Association. Further, he advises international governmental and non-governmental organizations on European and international economic law and acts as consultant in different development cooperation projects.
As academic host of the FAUMUN project, Markus Krajewski is in charge of the the overall project, implementation, and grading process. He supports the team and adds to the FAUMUN curriculum with his expert lecture on internal law. In close cooperation with the FAUMUN project lead and management, he ensures and supervises the academic quality of the project while contributing his expertise.
