FAUMUN x NMUN NY 2026
After months of preparation, multiple conferences throughout the year, and our preparatory trip to Berlin, where we visited various institutions and gained valuable insights into international diplomacy, NMUN 2026 marked the highlight of our conference season. Each experience along the way helped prepare us for one of the world’s largest and most prestigious Model United Nations conferences in New York City.
Representing Colombia across 13 different committees, we joined students from universities around the world in intensive debates on pressing global challenges. Throughout the conference, we delivered speeches, negotiated with fellow delegates, drafted working papers, and worked toward resolutions while accurately representing Colombia’s foreign policy positions.
Beyond formal committee sessions, NMUN provided us with valuable opportunities for cultural exchange in one of the world’s most international cities. We connected with delegates from across the globe, exchanged perspectives, and experienced diplomacy in a truly global environment.
Our hard work and preparation were reflected in our achievements at the conference. As an entire delegation, we were honored to receive an Honorable Mention Delegation Award, alongside eight individual committee awards earned by our delegates.
NMUN 2026 marked the culmination of months of dedication, teamwork, and resilience. We are incredibly proud of what we achieved together and grateful for the opportunity to represent FAUMUN and Colombia on an international stage.
