FAUMUN NY Delegation – Country Day
The day started with the vibrant energy of Colombia, full of dance and even a taste of Colombian Snacks. The New York Delegation explored the country’s rich culture, politics and economy, gaining a deeper understanding of Colombia‘s unique place on global stage.
Throughout the day, delegates worked in teams, researched their topics and presented their finding with creativity and collaboration. From Colombia’s international relations to its political landscape, the presentations gave us a good first impression of the Member States that our delegation will represent in New York. Many groups went beyond basic facts, drawing connections to current global challenges and highlighting Colombia‘s role within international organizations and multilateral cooperation.
In addition, the New York Delegation met their assigned committee partner for the first time, allowing them to connect and get an initial look at the topics at the work they would focus on during the NMUN conference.
Overall, Country Day offered an engaging mix of cultural immersion and academic exploration, setting a strong foundation for our journey toward the National Model United Nations in New York 2026.
